- B.V.Sc & A.H Programme: Passed/ Appearing 10+2 Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology, English
- M.V.Sc and Ph.D (Veterinary Science) Programme: Passed/ Appearing B.V.Sc and AH. For Doctorate programme: M. V. Sc in the concerned subject.
- B.Tech Biotechnology: Intermediate (10+2 or Equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology/ Mathematics and English. General/ OBC: 60% Marks, SC/ ST: 55% Marks
- Bachelor of Technology (Diary Technology): Intermediate (10+2 or Equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics and English. General/ OBC: 60% Marks, SC/ ST: 55% Marks
- Bachelor of Fisheries Science: Intermediate (10+2 or Equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English. General/ OBC: 60% Marks, SC/ ST: 55% Marks
- M.Sc (Biotechnology)/ M.V.Sc (Biotechnology)/ Ph.D (Biotechnology): For M.Sc: Bachelors degree in any branch of life sciences/ Biological Sciences as per prospectus. For M. V. Sc: Bachelors degree in Veterinary Science. For M. Tech: 4 years Bachelors degree in Engineering with biology or related subject as one of the papers at the 10+2 level or later. For Doctorate: Master degree (M.Sc. or M. Tech.) in any branch of science related to Biotechnology and bioinformatics as per prospectus/ M. V. Sc. General/ OBC: 60% Marks, SC/ ST: 55% Marks
