- Junior Scientific Officer JSO: Candidate must have First Class M.Sc./ M.S. degree in any branch of Chemistry, Soil Science, Environmental Science, or Microbiology, along with a B.Sc./ B.S. degree in any Science discipline.
- Junior Environmental Engineer JEE: Candidate must have an M.Tech./ M.E. degree in Environmental Engineering after completing a B.Tech./ B.E. degree in Biotechnology, Chemical, Civil, Mining, Environmental, or Textile Engineering OR a First Class B.Tech./ B.E. degree in any of the above Engineering branches.
