| Primary Level Class 1-5 | Candidates must have 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and must have passed or be appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C. / D.El.Ed.), or 10+2 with at least 45% marks with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (as per NCTE 2002 norms). Alternatively, candidates may have 10+2 with at least 50% marks and be appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), or 10+2 with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C. / D.El.Ed.) are also eligible. |

Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 45% marks and B.Ed. (as per NCTE norms) are also eligible. Alternatively, candidates who have 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and are appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), or a 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed program are eligible. Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education), or those having a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks along with a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. course, are also eligible.
